Stella Parslow  Stella is a self taught artist who started painting with Enamel on imitation Ivory (Ivorine) and Eggshells, her first exhibitions were The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (Miniatures Section) and Medici Gallery, London.From these beginnings she experimented with techniques of watercolour and gouache developing a unique style of detailed fine work which has been widely published, her pastel technique has been influenced by many of the impressionists. Her love of English country life has influenced her paintings for many years and still does, but now, with the development of new printing processes she has been able to explode with brilliant colour, painting the French and Italian landscapes that she has come to love so much. Stella was born in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire in 1950. Soon afterwards her family moved to Leighton Buzzard where she has lived and worked ever since.
