Andrew Hood

Andrew Hood was brought up in Edinburgh though his artistic career didn’t start until his family move to Cheshire where he studied at Northwich College of art and design. He initially worked as a graphic designer until he returned to Liverpool University to study illustration. After graduating he began to work as a fine artist exhibiting in galleries across the UK.including the Washington Gallery in Wales where he held a successful one-man show.

Andrews’s work is based on his travels abroad to Europe and occasionally Asia though he often finds inspiration within our own diverse and beautiful landscape.

He is now based in Bristol working in a city centre studio.
